To finally sit down and take time to write about what I’m grateful for is unbeilevably satisfying yet underused. Yesterday, I had one of those days where I was craving solitude and alone time. I had so many to-do’s and deadlines to fulfill that it was almost unbearable. To put it simply, I was on edge. I felt like an eggshell ready to crack at any minute. That’s when I knew I had to step away and find quiet time.
What’s currently keeping me away from a total mental break down are moments like these. The moments where I take slow down and reflect about what IS going right. The moments where I can allow my thoughts to process. The moments where I intentionally bring awareness to the good. I’m one to drop everything if I feel out of control with my emotions and thoughts. Action creates emotion. Whenever I’m overwhelmed, I direct my attention to something calming and automatically my whole mindset and attitudes flips.
In celebration of Thanksgiving and the wonderful spirit of the holidays (and to help my mental health), I’m here to list out everything that I feel thankful for. Down to the most detailed nuggets of bliss. Be aware, this is ottally free writing. I hardly edited my thoughts, this is the raw me here.
I hope you find this relatable and that it will inspire you to find moments where you can feel total gratitude and bliss too.
